This is the better of the two wireless subwoofers offered by Sonos. WiFi connection and Sonos app required, and must be plugged into nearby AC outlet for power.
Dual class-D digital amplifiers drive two 5″ x 8″ elliptical woofers which face inward for a force-canceling effect that virtually eliminates distortion, mounted inside a ported cabinet to produce deep bass as low as 25Hz (no ±dB specified).

These are the best Sonos wireless rear surround speakers you can buy. They must be plugged into nearby AC outlets for power and be connected to the Internet via WiFi. For optimal sound quality, Era 300 should have approximately two feet of overhead clearance. You can use them to enjoy your music wirelessly when not being used as the rear surround speakers.
They each feature six digital amplifiers to drive four tweeters – one front, two side-firing, one upward-firing for Dolby Atmos height effects – and two woofers angled left and right.
